Jacqueline Madison

Jacqueline Madison is the President of the North Country Underground Railroad Historical Association which oversees the North Star Underground Railroad Museum. She retired from Pfizer/Wyeth in 2010 as a Principal Toxicology Information Specialist for Drug Safety and has degrees in Chemistry and Library and Information Management. 

Jackie is a Vietnam Veteran. Her husband is retired from the military and they have two daughters. She is a Rotarian. Her biggest contribution to the organization as the President was acquiring the building that houses the North Star Underground Railroad Museum in June 2019.

My Mission

My mission is to uncover the hidden stories of people of color that lived and worked in the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain Region of New York.

Latest Articles

We have a real passion for telling stories in regard to the working-class people of color of New York, who made historical and cultural contributions to modern society from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The stories that we present will be placing a focus on the contributions and impact that they have made to New York culture.
